Maison Gilliard was founded in 1885 by Edmond Gilliard. He acquired the Clos du Mont and Clos du Brûle-Fer, located on the heights above the town of Sion. Thanks to our founder, we can proudly count ourselves among the oldest wineries in Valais and among the most renowned wine producers in Switzerland.
Dôle des Monts (created in 1885), Fendant Les Murettes (1921), and the legendary Porte de Novembre (1960) are iconic brands that reflect the prestige of the Maison. Today, our range includes more than 50 wines and 22 grape varieties, divided into the Perlines, Trésors de Famille, Les Tonneliers, and Les Domaines des Grands Murs collections. All wines are vinified, aged, and bottled on the estate, ensuring total control of the value chain – from soil to glass.
