The Clos des Abbayes has belonged to the City of Lausanne since 1536. The 4.7-hectare estate lies in the heart of Dézaley and offers an incredible view over the lake and vineyards. It is the result of the work of the monks of the Abbey of Montheron in the 12th century. With slopes exceeding 30%, the estate was terraced to make the work easier.
The moraine soil is perfectly suited to Chasselas, which accounts for over 80% of production, leaving room for Syrah. It has been farmed organically since 2022. Vinification takes place in the historic buildings constructed by the monks.
