St-Pierre, it is the sky, powerful, untamable. The earth in the heart of this rich valley. The stone, those statues rising several kilometers high. The know-how of those who work with love. A sip in which all this is intensely expressed. At the heart of a powerful and generous nature, nearly three hundred guardians watch over our little fairies, the vine. Together, they cultivate this know-how and these traditional grape varieties. Each glass of St-Pierre wine is a tribute to tradition and to the strength of this nature.
Programme of the day:
We meet at St-Pierre-de-Clages station at 11 a.m. to set off together into the vineyards. This walk (about 15 minutes) is the occasion to tell you our story while explaining the work of the vine. We then put theory into practice in the vineyard. Afterwards, we go to the cellar for a visit and to continue the harvest work. Then comes the time for the Valaisan “Casse-croûte” (potatoes, cheeses, meats...). The whole day will of course be punctuated by tastings of our different wines! The day ends around 3 p.m.
