St-Pierre, it is the sky, powerful, untamable. The earth in the heart of this rich valley. The stone, those statues rising several kilometers high. The know-how of those who work with love. A sip in which all this is intensely expressed. At the heart of a powerful and generous nature, nearly three hundred guardians watch over our little fairies, the vine. Together, they cultivate this know-how and these traditional grape varieties. Each glass of St-Pierre wine is a tribute to tradition and to the strength of this nature.
Programme of the day:
We meet at St-Pierre-de-Clages train station at 9:00 am (or 9:30 am at the cellar) to head together into the vineyards. This walk (around 15 minutes) is an opportunity to share our story while explaining the work in the vineyard. We then put theory into practice directly among the vines. Afterwards, we go to the cellar for a guided tour and to continue with the harvest work. Then comes the time for the traditional Valais “Casse-croûte” (potatoes, cheese, meats...). The whole day will, of course, be punctuated with tastings of our different wines! The day ends around 3:00 pm.
