Settemaggio is a wine estate and farm run by siblings Nicola, Raffaele and Eliana Marcionetti. Founded in 1999 with a small production of Merlot, the estate has continued to grow ever since.
In addition to our vineyards, we cultivate 25 hectares of arable land on the Magadino Plain, growing potatoes, carrots and cereals.
We manage a total of 7 hectares of vineyards spread across the hills of the Bellinzona region and the vineyards of the lower Leventina, on alluvial soils typical of the Alpine valleys. Our new winery is located in Giornico, where both winemaking and visitor hospitality come together.
Our location in the north of Ticino gives our wines freshness, elegance and character. Curiosity and a spirit of innovation guide our work, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. We pay particular attention to innovative red and white grape varieties while preserving the balance between human craftsmanship and nature.
