The Cistercian monks were the pioneers of viticulture in the Côte region. In the case of Abbaye de Mont, the monks of Bonmont Abbey received these lands in the 12th century and quickly transformed them into vineyards. The estate’s connection with Lausanne only began at the start of the 19th century, in 1802, when the City acquired it during the sale of national assets.
Today, the passion for vines and wine continues in this historic setting.
Experience the grape harvest, the traditional vineyard “casse-croûte” and the aromas of winemaking. Visit our cellar, our barrel ageing room and our bottling facilities.
Special price: CHF 64.– per person: Participants will receive a corkscrew and a wine bottle pourer to take home. We offer a raclette with an aperitif platter and dessert, as well as a tasting of an older vintage.
